Commissions

General Overview

Commissions (in general) require a cooperative effort between you and me. This section will guide you through the information I need to collect from you and what you can expect during this process, right up to delivery! Don’t worry though, it’s pretty painless and simple. You can skip around in this section and just read the information you want, or get right to the point and fill out a Commission Request. Just remember, the more informed you are and the more information we exchange, combined — will contribute to the final commissioned jewelry piece and your expectations.

Design and Fabrication Time

  1. Normal design and fabrication time is 2-4 weeks not including delivery transit time.
  2. If you request a ‘rush job’, you will be charged for this service; the charge will be included in the Commission Agreement form. Please plan ahead and place your orders early to avoid this charge!
  3. My studio is closed on legal holidays, one week in December, and one week over the summer for vacation. Closures are announced on my blog.

Payment

  1. A 50% deposit is required at the signing of the Commission Agreement and when you place an order. This covers some of the cost of materials and labor. This deposit is non-refundable.
  2. You are notified when the jewelry art is completed and a final invoice is rendered. Full payment is requested before the jewelry is shipped.
  3. I receive payment through PayPal only. Note, you do not need a PayPal account to use PayPal. For more info on PayPal visit their official site.

Shipping

  1. Please allow 3-7 business days for domestic shipping via USPS.
